Yoga for Every Body is an open class to anyone who is able to stand and sit on the floor. We warm up for about 15 minutes on the floor and stand up to practice strength & balancing pose. Then we work on abdominal and lower back exercises as well as different stretches on the floor. I offer different variations so that everybody can practice poses depending on their abilities.
Gentle Yoga is a class slower in pace. We warm up for about 15 minutes and move on to standing poses. We practice about 3 standing poses and 1-2 balancing poses. Then we work on stretches and strength poses in a very gentle way on the floor.
Chair Yoga is a class very slow in pace and we take a lot of rests between poses. All the poses can be done by sitting on the chair or using a chair to help with balance. This class is very good for people who have challenge with their knees, hips, or balance. Although using a chair, we still work on strength, flexibility, and balance.
We end each class with breathing exercises to work on our mental and emotional health.
Classes are $10 each and invoices are sent through Venmo. Chair Yoga is $7 only.
