Yoga for Every Body is a class that is open to anyone who can stand and sit on the floor. The class starts with a 15-minute warm-up on the floor, followed by strength and balancing poses while standing. Then, abdominal and lower back exercises and floor stretches are performed with variations to accommodate different abilities.
Gentle Yoga class moves at a slower pace, with a 15-minute warm-up, 3 standing poses, and 1-2 balancing poses, followed by gentle floor stretches and strength poses.
Chair Yoga is a slow-paced class that offers plenty of rest breaks between poses. All poses can be performed sitting on a chair or using it for balance support. This class is ideal for those who have challenges with their knees, hips, or balance, as it focuses on strength, flexibility, and balance.
Each class concludes with breathing exercises for mental and emotional well-being.
Classes are priced at $12 for Fridays and $10 for Mondays and Thursdays, except for Chair Yoga, which is priced at $7. Payment can be made through Venmo.
